Chasing the Culprit

someone's been trying (or have already succeeded) to hack my blogspot account. i noticed a couple of weeks ago, my dashboard showed that i "updated" my other super dead blog. i thought i might have not logged out from a library computer or something and someone got curious, so i just brushed the idea of someone trying to hack my account. but knowing how praning i am on things like this, i changed my password immediately. this morning, i checked my email and got a "password request" e-mail. it said i requested for my password. duh! why will i do that? and i have not opened my account nor visited blogger since that day i changed my password. hay naku, kung sino ka man, makontento ka na lang sa pagbabasa nito. or if you want, i can teach you how to start your own blog.

this blog is still under surveillance. it might take me weeks to catch that sonofabitch. til then, no post muna.

Snippets

it's back to work for most of us. i now have to face the reality of checking the truck-load of testpapers i have been shoving down my schedule. deadline of grades is on saturday. and i think i'll be breaking my first new year's resolution [of submitting everything on-time].

what kept me busy during my 2-week christmas vacation? (yes, two weeks! just some of the perks of being a teacher.) i watched TV, day and night... until my eyeballs felt like popping out of my lids. i had to deal with a few bouts of insomnia (again!) and nothing seem to beat MTV as a cure for that. well, it turns out Buddy Zabala (of eraserheads) is now with the band "the dawn." so i guess, any plans of e-heads reunion would now be impossible. i also heard BSB will be in town this january. i missed their first concert, and i think i'll miss this one, too. the countdowns were my favorite. in mtv diyes, my favorite hale was at the top. in mtv pop top 100 songs of 2005, my other favorite band, greenday, made it to #1 with "wake me up when september ends." i didn't catch trl's countdown though, but i'm sure they'll have re-runs. i also find mtv homecoming really amusing... especially the episodes of ebe and ely buendia. o ano, convinced na ba kayo na mtv lang pinanood ko buong bakasyon? hehe

during the break, i met up with my HS buddies maan and jazzie. we talked about a lot of things; some are too private to share here. what got me really laughing the whole night (even after we parted ways) was the thought of our chosen alternative careers. jazzie (according to her) can settle with a showbiz career if law school becomes too serious for her. maan sees jazzie as a potential pinoy big brother housemate, but then she would have to be dead before the contest even starts. jazzie can't live without reading newspapers (the reason why she thrives in law school). as for maan, i can see her as a supportive wife of an army-politician (mala-Lacson... god-forbid!). as for me, i want to be a starving musician (with emphasis on starving... hehehe). cool, di ba?

two of my college blockmates got married... to each other... yesterday. ang sweet naman! they have been a couple for 3 years (i think). and according to my other HS friend, paula, two years as "mag-syota" is a good solid foundation for marriage. yeah right! i say, different strokes for different folks. anyway, best wishes to my blockies!
