Sunday, April 12 Going Back i don't like blogging at multiply anymore. i think i want to return to this site. i'll arrange it later. weebee, ien! Saturday, December 23 Viada Forever i love my section in law school. although i know when we reach 2nd year there'll be no section viada anymore (only manresa and sanchez roman), i would still want to stick it out with my original fellas. our class is so diverse with classmates belonging to different sororities and fraternities (and a whole lot of barbarians). last wednesday, we had our christmas party. it was FUN. i had fun. kung sino hindi nag-enjoy, malamang KJ. hehehe we had parlor games and unlimited karaoke. we were not complete, but at least those who know how to have a good time were there. i was there. hehehe Saturday, October 14 This Is It! full speed ahead! it's final exams season. maximum of 2-day interval per subject, beat that! but that's ok, i'm the great perpetual crammer, remember? been absent in some of my classes lately, especially criminal law and persons. i think i have to go over more than a hundred articles just to catch up. when oh when will i have the time for that, dear God? teka, why don't i just stop blogging kaya? hehehe anyway, my last exam will be on the 31st. but guess what. our enrollment is on the 26th and 27th. what does that mean? ibig sabihin, mag-eenroll kame kahit hindi pa namen alam kung babagsak kame o papasa! does that sound sick or what?! i know this situation is not unique here in my law school. i'm pretty sure other law students have the same worries. well, we just have to stay focused for now. this will all come to pass... and probably sooner for most of us. anyway, to all students of law, i would like to share some words of wisdom from the great Justice Malcolm: "I am wounded, perhaps burnt by embolismic expectations from my family, friends and other relationships. Perhaps I am tired of trying to be the best. But when I come to think that I want to be a lawyer, it eliminates my frustrations..." i posted that same quotation at the back of our living room door. every time i step out of our house, i am reminded that everyday is another opportunity to be closer to my goal. |
